U.S. Office of Insured Healthcare Facilities (HUD) Mr. Poteet is experienced in providing hospital appraisal review and hospital appraisal services on behalf of the Federal Government – U.S. Office of Insured Healthcare Facilities (HUD). He has advised other government entities (property taxation authorities) as to the impact of Federal government policy on hospital operating margins on a National, regional, state and local basis. He has also presented testimony before government forums in regard to changing healthcare delivery methods, such as the increasing emphasis on outpatient care.

He consults for banks and other financing entities involved in the healthcare field. Although investors/lenders often desire appraisals of hard assets (real property and tangible personal property – furniture, fixtures, and equipment), Mr. Poteet has extensive experience in developing hard asset valuations within the context of the greater ongoing concern hospital operation – and frequently provides valuations of the greater ongoing concern hospital enterprise.
